Sena let out a sigh of relief. It had taken hours of searching and nearly being trampled by love-struck girls grabbing up every box of Valentine's chocolate in sight... but he had finally managed to find a store that sold sugar free candy.
A neatly wrapped bag of assorted sugar-less sweets in hand, the running-back stepped into the long checkout line. Waiting patiently for his turn to pay and somewhat lost in thought, Sena wasn’t really paying attention to anything around him. Until someone in line behind him must have shoved him forward a bit by accident, causing him to bump into the next person in line.
“Huh?!”
“S-sorry” Sena looked up, blinking as he recognized the tall blond looking back at him with just as much surprise. “Jyuumonji-kun...”
“Sena...”
There was a long awkward pause.
The brunette couldn’t help noticing the two heart shaped boxes in Jyuumonji’s arms. “Umm...”
“I was hungry for some sweets...so, you know...” The lineman scratched the scar on his cheek, trying not to look at the candy’s in his teammate’s hand.
“Likewise.” Sena shifted nervously.
Another awkward pause.
The line moved.
Jyuumonji coughed slightly “So, yeah, don’t mention...”
“I won’t.”
“Me either.”
A slight smile crossed Jyuumonji’s face.
A small blush crept over Sena’s cheeks.
And at the back of the line a small linemen with bright nose and a stack of chocolates taller the was, watched his teammates and smirked.
